About Readings Guide

Readings Guide ranks moisture meters, hygrometers, air-quality monitors and related home-inspection gear using aggregated public ratings and manufacturer specifications.

How our rankings work

• We collect ratings from named public sources and show the date each was retrieved.
• Low-volume ratings are pulled toward the category average so a handful of reviews can't dominate.
• Sources are weighted by review volume, and recurring failure complaints reduce a product's score.
• We do not claim hands-on testing unless a page says so.
